The New Voice of Americana Country

From the Press

"[Marisa] tells a story like she is the story, and then gets it done with a beautiful voice set to some appealing country and rock that will get your toes tapping and your heart pumping. Her face is warm and sincere and all of her music is a direct reflection of what she emanates from within. This is one artist you simply should not pass up."  — Keith Hannaleck, Founder,

Marisa Ireland is no stranger to performing. In fact, she was the youngest paid singer/dancer to ever perform in Nashville, Tennessee for Gaylord Entertainment, having been featured in their "Country Christmas" and "Easter in Song and Story" shows at the tender age of four. As she continued to sing, dance and act in various venues in and around Nashville, she was noticed by a Hollywood director who convinced her parents to make the move to L.A. where she signed with Hervey-Grimes Talent Agency at the age of nine and began a successful career as a child actor in film, television and national commercials. All grown up now, Marisa has come full circle--a Tennessee girl who has returned home to her roots and first love: music. Her voice has been described by some in the industry as "country's version of Nora Jones with a Dolly Parton edge.” All would agree she brings a unique, innovative style to the table. Co-writing with her mother, Patty Parker Ireland, a long-time BMI songwriter, Marisa is also exploring various styles and genres as a writer in her own right, having even ventured into the realms of bossa nova and grunge. She says of her songwriting, "I try to cover a lot of bases and see what works."

February 5, 2014: Though only a very few family and friends knew it since I was not allowed to publicize the news previously, I was contacted by the producers of NBC's "The Voice" to do a private "fast-track" audition which allows one to surpass the traditional open-call process. I have to say that this experience has been an amazing one. Thanks to McNulty Casting and "The Voice" for believing in me enough to afford me such a great opportunity.

January 8, 2014: Happy New Year, fans and friends! I'm looking forward to an exciting 2014 full of new musical and personal opportunities. I wish for each of you the very best of luck in all your endeavors.

May 4, 2013: This has been an amazing spring! From making my Nashville debut on "The Billy Block Show," to seeing Texas for the first time at Merlefest, the journey continues to be a wild and wonderful ride! Four new songs are in the works (music is already recorded--now for the vocals!), and I am continuing to write up a storm! Thanks, everyone, for your support and love out there!
